how to have a happy indoor cat?
I have a 9 year old cat and she doesn’t do anything. All she does is sleep and look out the window. I think she is bored. I bought her a leash and collar so i can walk her. She really enjoys it. I took a cardboard box and cut a bunch of holes and she like going in it. I am going to get a baby gate so she can have the whole house because she only gets the whole house 7 hours a day. My beagle mix chases her around and i feel bad so she lives in the bedroom the rest of the day. She also has a little playhouse that she sleeps in. She is de clawed( not my choice its my moms) so she cant have a scratching post. She gets lots of treats, walks, and love so she doesn’t feel left out. Do you have any ideas on any homemade things i can make her. I also need suggestions on store bought things! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well… it seems you are doing a good job! alot of times animals start to age quickly becuase they dont live as long as us so they arnt going to be so active anymore. but, walks are good as long as they enjoy it also you can make cat nip balls to play with or treats and stuff. try to be interactive with your cat maybe play with the toys you have with him or somthing. i no one thing pets love are the teaser toys heres the link of one they are fun too! and the playhouse seems really cool maybe try one of these :
